Objective:	·         Explain why Abraham and Moses were important leaders of Judaism. ·         Identify how the religious beliefs and practices of the Israelites set them apart from the Canaanites. ·         Describe the religious teachings written down in the religious books of the Israelites. ·         Explain why the Israelites, at first united under a line of kings, later became divided and defeated by external powers.
